Peter David Shapiro was born in Montreal, Canada, and now lives in the Boston area. Before COVID, he frequently rode the Red Line where in Ghosts on the Red Line commuters meet their Departed. He spent time in Hong Kong where a story of intrigue and revenge unfolds in The Trail of Money. He’s enjoyed many visits to Vermont where a remarkable oil painting opens a portal for the paranormal in Portrait of Ignatius Jones. His fourth novel, Jacob’s Plan, is about a survivalist who, coincidentally, has ties in Boston, Montreal, and Vermont.
